Send sms from Huawei E1550 USB MODEM

how to send sms from Huawei E1550 USB MODEM under Linux :D

ubuntu :

from your terminal do the following :

#apt-get install udev udev-extras

#vim /etc/udev/rules.d/15-huawei-e1550.rules

and add the following

SUBSYSTEM=="usb",
SYSFS{idProduct}=="1446",
SYSFS{idVendor}=="12d1",
RUN+="/lib/udev/modem-modeswitch --vendor 0x12d1 --product 0x1446 --type option-zerocd"

after that plug your usb modem after while

and make the those checks :
#lsusb

you would find some thing like this
Bus 002 Device 007: ID 12d1:1003 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E220 HSDPA Modem / E270 HSDPA/HSUPA Modem

go to /dev/

ls /dev/ttyUSB*

you would find
/dev/ttyUSB0
/dev/ttyUSB1

ok that's great our linux machnie has detected the usb modem :D

let's send some at commands to send sms or make some calls :D

i will use mincom to send some AT Commands

#minicom -s

Serial Device : /dev/ttyUSB0
Bps/Par/Bits : 115200 8N1
Hardware Flow Control : Yes
Software Flow Control : No

AT+CMGF=1	To format SMS as a TEXT message
AT+CSCA="+xxxxx"	Set your SMS center's number. Check with your provider.

To send a SMS, the AT command to use is AT+CMGS ..

AT+CMGS="+yyyyy"
> Your SMS text message here ( CTRL+z)

replace +yyyy phone number

Example :

AT+CMGS="0113XXXXX"
> Test Test Test then press (ctrl+z)

+CMGS: 1

OK

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR CV

Competition is Rife

Job hunting is a very competitive process often because of the sheer volume of candidates in the job market and the speed with which desirable positions are filled.

In the first instance, it is your CV that will put you ahead of other candidates and get you the interview, where you can show your suitability for the job. Hence, getting a positive response from your CV upon application is key.

CV structure rules

Start with a block heading: your name and contact details
Next write your profile – a statement about who you are and your aims
Note your key achievements and list them under this heading
Now list your education history
Next list your employment history also in reverse chronology
List any skills such as computer packages or a driving licence
A brief list of your interests shows that you have a life outside work
Finish with your referees or the line ‘reference available on request’

CV format rules

Never exceed two pages of A4
Do not write CV at the top; never state the obvious!
You no longer need to include your marital status
Word process your CV in fairly standard font and size
Use an easy-to-read layout with space between sections for definition
Bold up headings and use bullet points – never write long paragraphs
Print your CV on white or cream paper, or possibly coloured for arty jobs

CV content rules

Give evidence; it is not enough to say you are a team player - the employer needs proof so give an example of team work you have done
Use positive, dynamic, concise language – do not joke.
Move sections around to emphasise your strengths. If you have been in work for more than two years put your employment before your education

طرق وأساليب لتصبح أكثرأبداعا
مارس رياضة المشي في الصباح الباكر وتأمل الطبيعة من حولك.
خصص خمس دقائق للتخيل صباح ومساء كل يوم.
ناقش شخصاً آخر حول فكرة تستحسنها قبل أن تجربها.
تخيل نفسك رئيس لمجلس إدارة لمدة يوم واحد.
استخدم الرسومات والأشكال التوضيحية بدل الكتابة في عرض المعلومات.
قبل أن تقرر أي شيء، قم بإعداد الخيارات المتاحة.
جرب واختبر الأشياء وشجع على التجربة.
تبادل عملك مع زميل آخر ليوم واحد فقط.
ارسم صوراً وأشكالاً فكاهية أثناء التفكير.
فكر بحل مكلف لمشكلة ما ثم حاول تحديد إيجابيات ذلك الحل.
قدم أفكاراً واطراح حلولاً بعيدة المنال.
تعلم رياضة جديدة حتى إن لم تمارسها.
اشترك في مجلة في غير تخصصك ولم يسبق لك قراءتها.
غير طريقك من وإلى العمل.
قم بعمل السكرتير بنفسك، وأعطه إجازة إجبارية!
قم بترتيب غرفتك، وغسل ملابسك وكيها لوحدك.
غير من ترتيب الأثاث في مكتبك أو غرفتك.
احلم وتصور النجاح دائماً.
قم بخطوات صغيرة في كل عمل، ولا تكتفي بالكلام والأماني.
أكثر من السؤال.
قل لا أعرف.
إذا كنت لا تعمل شيء، ففكر بعمل شيء إبداعي تملء به وقت فراغك.
ألعب لعبة ماذا لو ..؟
انتبه إلى الأفكار الصغيرة.
غير ما تعودت عليه.
احرص أن يكون في أي عمل تعمله شيء من الإبداع.
تعلم والعب ألعاب الذكاء والتفكير.
اقرأ قصص ومواقف عن الإبداع والمبدعين.
خصص دفتر لكتابة الأفكار ودون فيه الأفكار الإبداعية مهما كانت هذه الأفكار صغيرة..
افترض أن كل شيء ممكن.
طرق توليد الأفكاروصلنا إلى التطبيق العملي، كيف نولد ونبتكر افكار وحلول جديدة، إليك هذه الطرق:
حدد هدفاً واضحاً لإبداعك وتفكيرك.
التفكير بالمقلوب، أي إقلب ما تراه في حياتك حتى تأتي بفكرة جديدة، مثال: الطلاب يذهبون إلى المدرسة، عندما تعكسه تقول: المدرسة تأتي إلى الطلاب، وهذا ما حدث من خلال الدراسة بالإنترنت والمراسلة وغيرها.
الدمج، أي دمج عنصرين أو أكثر للحصول على إبداع جديد، مثال: سيارة + قارب = مركبة برمائية، وتم تطبيق هذه الفكرة!
الحذف، احذف جزء أو خطوة واحدة من جهاز أو نظام إداري، فقد يكون هذا الجزء لا فائدة له.
الإبداع بالأحلام، تخيل أنك أصبحت مديراً لوزارة التعليم مثلاً، مالذي ستفعله؟ أو تخيل أننا نعيش تحت الماء، كيف ستكون حياتنا؟
المثيرات العشوائية، قم بزيارة محل للعب الأطفال، أو سافر لبلاد لم تزرها من قبل، أو امشي في مكان لم تراه من قبل، ولا تنسى أن تحمل معك دفتر ملاحظات وقلم لكي تسجل أي فكرة أو خاطرة تخطر على ذهنك.
الإبداع بالتنقل، أي تحويل ونقل فكرة تبدو غير صحيحة أو معقولة إلى فكر جديدة ومعقولة.
زاوية نظر أخرى، انظر إلى المشكلة أو الإبداع أو المسألة من طرف ثاني أو ثالث، ولا تحصر رؤيتك بمجال نظرك فقط.
ماذا لو؟، قل لنفسك: ماذا لو حدث كذا وكذا .. ستكون النتيجة .....
كيف يمكن؟ استخدم هذا السؤال لإيجاد العديد من البدائل والإجابات.
استخدامات أخرى، هل تستطيع أن توجد 20 استخدام آخر للقلم غير الكتابة والرسم؟ جرب هذه الطريقة وبالتأكيد ستحصل على أفكار مفيدة.
طور باستمرار
لا تتوقف عن التطوير والتعديل في أي شيء.

There are many off the shelf range finding components available including ultrasonic, infrared, and even laser rangefinders. All of these devices work well, but in the field of aerial robotics, weight is a primary concern. It is desirable to get as much functionality out of each component that is added to an airframe. Miniature robotic rotorcraft for example can carry about 100g of payload. It is possible to perform machine vision tasks such as obstacle identification and avoidance though the use of a webcam (or mini wireless camera interfaced to a computer via USB adaptor). Better yet, two webcams can provide stereo machine vision thus improving obstacle avoidance because depth can be determined. The drawback of this of course is the addition of the weight of a second camera. This page describes how a mini laser pointer can be configured along with a single camera to provide mono-machine vision with range information

تستعمل لوحة التجارب لإجراء التجارب واختبار الدوائر الإليكترونية. وهي توفر الكثير من الجهد والوقت حيث يمكننا تركيب أجزاء الدوائر بدون لحام.
كما هو واضح في الشكل التالي هناك العديد من الفتحات التي يمكن تركيب أجزاء الدائرة الإليكترونية فيها.

لو أزلنا الطبقة البلاستيكية العازلة في أعلى لوحة التجارب لوجدنا شرائط معدنية مرتبة كما في الشكل التالي

كل واحد من هذه الأشرطة المعدنية نقطة توصيل مستقلة. فإذا وصلت أجزاء الدائرة لأي شريط معدني واحد فتكون موصلة ببعضها.
الأشرطة المعدنية الموضحة باللون الأزرق تستخدم عادة لربط البطاريات ومصادر التغذية أما الشرائط المعدنية المستخدمة باللون الأخضر فتستعمل لتوصيل أجزاء الدائرة مثل المقاومات و الترانزستورات وغيرها كما هو موضح بالشكل التالي

What is IRIDIUM ?
The Iridium satellite constellation is a system of 66 active communication satellites and spares around the earth.The system was originally to have 77 active satellites, and was named for the element iridium, which has atomic number 77. Iridium allows worldwide voice and data communications using handheld devices.
The Iridium Satellite System is the only provider of truly global, truly mobile satellite voice and data solutions with complete coverage of the Earth (including oceans, airways and Polar regions). Through a constellation of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO) satellites operated by Boeing, Iridium delivers essential communications services to and from remote areas where terrestrial communications are not available.
The system will employ 15-20 ground station with a master control complex in lands down.
How the system work ?
When an Iridium telephone is activated, the nearest satellite in conjunction with the IRIDIUM network automatically will determine account validity and the location of the user.
The subscriber will select amoung cellular or satellite transmission
alternatives depend on compatibility and system availability, to dispatch a call.
If the subscribers local cellular system is unavailable, the telephone will communicate directly with a satellite overhead. The call then will be transferred from satellite through the network to its designation, either another IRIDIUM telephone or an IRIDIUM ground station.
IRIDIUM system getaways interconnect the satellite network with land-based fixed or wireless infrastructures worldwide.
Market opportunity
The current growth of cellular services and the market outlook for broader personal communications point to a strong demand for IRIDIUM services. By year 2000, the number of cellular subscribers worldwide is expected to reach 294 million, along with 202 million paging subscribers. Iridium LLC anticipates servicing 650,000 voice subscribers and 350,000 paging subscribers worldwide, representing less than a quarter of one percent of those markets.
Operational status
Plans for the IRIDIUM network call for the first satellite to be launched in 1996, with commercial service commencing in late 1998. in january 1995, the U.S federal communications commission awarded Motorola a license to construct, launch, and operate the IRIDIUM system. Iridium LLC and its investors now are negotiating agreements with regulators and service providers worldwide. Construction of the space system already is well underway as part of a
$ 3.37 billion contract with Motorolas satellite Communications Group. Lockhead Martin corporation is building the satellite buses, which will be shipped to Motorolas facility in chandler, arizona for the integration of communications hardware and other components.
Raytheon company has designed the phased array antenna for communication between ground stations and IRIDIUM telephones. Beehtel, Scientific-atlanta, Com Dev , Siemens, and Nuova Telepazio are also providingkey elements of the system.
McDonnel Douglas Corporation, Khrunichev State research and production space center, and china wall industry Corporation will provide launch services.

IRIDIUM SATELLITE :-
With 66 satellite forming across linked grid above the earth, the iridium system is the first low earth orbit (LEO) system for wireless telephone service. Only 780 k.m (450 miles) high, these satellites work different from those at a much higher orbit 36000 k.m in two major ways :-
(1) They are close enough to receive the signals of a handheld device.
(2) They act like cellular towers in the sky where wireless signals can move overhead instead of through ground-based cells.
IRIDIUM PHONE :-
The iridium phone is the primary means by which callers will communicate directly through the iridium network. One telephone number, through the use of a mini personal subscriber identity module (SIM), keeps a subscriber connected.
IRIDIUM PAGER :-
Pocket-sized iridium pagers are capable of receiving alphanumeric messages. For worldwide applicability, the message display will feature an international character set. An off-the-shelf disposable battery will provide an average lifetime of one month.
IRIDIUM GATEWAY :-
Iridium gateways interconnect the iridium constellation with public switched telephone network (PSTN), making communication possible between iridium phones and any other telephone in the world.

تقدم رجل لشركة مايكروسوفت للعمل بوظيفة - فراش - ، وبعد إجراء المقابلة والاختبار (تنظيف أرضية المكتب) ، أخبره مدير التوظيف بأنة قد تمت الموافقة عليه وسيتم إرسال قائمة بالمهام وتاريخ المباشرة في العمل عبر البريد الإلكتروني.

أجاب الرجل: ولكنني لا املك جهاز كمبيوتر ولا املك بريد إلكتروني!!!

رد عليه المدير (باستغراب): من لا يملك بريد إلكتروني فهو غير موجود أصلا ، ومن لا وجود له فلا يحق له العمل !

خرج الرجل وهو فاقد الأمل في الحصول على وظيفة ، فكر كثيراً ماذا عساه أن يعمل وهو لا يملك سوى 10 دولارات.

بعد تفكير عميق ذهب الرجل إلى محل الخضار وقام بشراء صندوق من الطماطم ثم اخذ يتنقل في الأحياء السكنية ويمر على المنازل ويبيع حبات الطماطم . نجح في مضاعفة رأس المال وكرر نفس العملية ثلاث مرات إلى أن عاد إلى منزلة في نفس اليوم وهو يحمل 60 دولار . أدرك الرجل بان يمكنه العيش بهذه الطريقة فاخذ يقوم بنفس العمل يوميا يخرج في الصباح الباكر ويرجع ليلا.

أرباح الرجل بدأت تتضاعف فقام بشراء عربة ثم شاحنة حتى اصبح لدية أسطول من الشاحنات لتوصيل الطلبات للزبائن. بعد خمس سنوات اصبح الرجل من كبار الموردين للأغذية في الولايات المتحدة !!!

ولضمان مستقبل أسرته فكر الرجل في شراء بوليصة تامين على الحياة فاتصل بأكبر شركات التامين ، وبعد مفاوضات استقر
رأيه على بوليصة تناسبه ، فطلب منه موظف شركة التامين أن يعطيه بريده الإلكتروني!!

أجاب الرجل: ولكنني لا املك بريد إلكتروني!!!!

رد عليه الموظف (باستغراب): لا تملك بريداً إلكترونيا ونجحت ببناء هذه الإمبراطورية الضخمة!! تخيل لو أن لديك بريداً إلكترونيا! فأين ستكون اليوم؟؟؟
